Table Stakes And All-In

TABLE STAKES & ALL-IN RULES
|
The Table Stakes Rule:
All games on our site follow the Table Stakes policy. This means only the chips you have in play at the beginning of a hand can be used during that hand.
Unlike in movies, players are never forced to wager personal possessions or additional funds once a hand has started.
|
The All-In Rule:
A player cannot be forced to forfeit a hand simply because they do not have enough chips to call a bet.
-- Protection: If you lack the chips to match a bet, you are declared All-In.
-- Eligibility: You remain in the hand and are eligible for the portion of the pot accumulated up to your final wager.
|
Main Pot vs. Side Pots:
When a player goes All-In, further action between other active players is separated:
-- Main Pot: The portion containing the All-In player's chips. The All-In player can win this.
-- Side Pot: All further bets made by the remaining players. The All-In player is not eligible to win the side pot(s).
Note: If multiple players go All-In, several side pots may be created.
